IT Management Consulting, Training Services, Audit & Security Reviews Since 1984

CPE Credits: 7

Description: This seminar addresses the emerging global concerns for privacy, both corporate as well as individual. Issues of both national and individual security and safety continue to dominate the strategic decisions and activities of citizens, government officials and corporate strategic planners. The need for more access to personal information, the potential of population profiling and the surrender of greater amounts of personal privacy are increasingly likely. What are the impacts legally, financially, and personally as the possibility of laying bare once coveted private information, is no longer considered or treated as private? This course will examine the process of meeting, maintaining and monitoring the legislative, regulatory, and marketplace expectations and demands of personal and corporate information privacy.

Audience: This seminar is intended for Chief Technology Officers, General Counsels, Chief Information Officers, Chief Security Officers, Controllers, Chief Privacy Officers, acting Privacy Officers, and/or those responsible for choosing Privacy Officers, internal and external audit professionals who want to learn about current and emerging privacy issues facing today's businesses.
